McLaren have now completed this prestigious residential development for Taylor Wimpey in London. The project consists of a double basement car park with forty spaces and a five and six story RC framedbuilding. External cladding includes brick and stone features with high performance curtain walling andwindows and glazed penthouse apartments valued at £1.5m.
Internally accommodation consist of the fit out of twenty seven high specification private residential unitsand thirteen Genesis Housing Association Units for local key workers. These are a mixture of two, threeand four bedroom single and duplex units along with penthouse apartments .
Fit out is to the highest commercial standard including air conditioning, bespoke Manhattan luxury kitchensand marble bathrooms. On the upper levels the changing height allows for external roof gardens andamenity spaces for the residents.External access to the site is challenging being situated on a red route and also requiring the re-modeling andenhancement of the adjacent street scene under a section 278 agreement with the City of Westminster council.
All units fully comply with NHBC buildmark standards, Secured By Design and code for sustainable homeslevel 3.
