Travelodge, Maidenhead

Design and construction of Travelodge hotel and restaurant in Maidenhead town centre. The hotel will be 96 bedrooms, over 6 floors with 2 retail units on the ground floor, and the associated external works and car parking.

The building will be built off new piles/ pile caps of a concrete frame to 1st floor, the remaining 4 floors consisting of the hotel's 96 bedrooms are to be constructed out of a timber frame, with bathroom pods dropped in as the works proceeded.  All will be clad with a mixture of brickwork, rain screen cladding, curtain walling and sto render.  A dedicated plant room will be located at roof level.
