This project involved the construction of 500,000 sq ft of industrial and office units as part of the London Olympics re-location plan.
As part of the ODA remit this project delivers 10% renewable energy and this has been achieved by incorporating the following carbon friendly initiatives:

• Ground source heat pump - 140 closed circuit pipework loops sunk in 120m deep boreholes provide low temperature heating for the industrial units via under floor heating pipework cast into the floor slabs.
• Roof Mounted photvoltaics providing electricity to support the building's base load
• Roof mounted solar panels to heat the domestic hot water.
• Passivent - collecting vanes on the roof provide fresh air to the offices without the need of fans therefore reducing electricity consumption.
