Blue Planet Shortlisted for Green Award

The Gazeley Blue Planet Development in Chatterley Valley has been shortlisted for the Estates Gazette Green Industrial Development of the Year Award.

The award is presented in recognition of a single scheme that demonstrates best practice in sustainable development and can provide a quality benchmark for future development projects. 

The development is to be judged on it's green credentials, for example; energy performance, use of environmentally friendly technology and associated sustainable considerations - such as transport links or local economic benefit.  Consideration will also be given to environmental awareness in the construction process leading up to the finished product. 

McLaren have always been extremely proud to be involved in such a pioneering project with Gazeley.

The winner will be announced on 22 November 2008.
