New Hotel Development in High Wycombe

McLaren have secured the contract to deliver a new £5m hotel in High Wycombe

McLaren, working in partnership with developer Pendleridge, will build a 120 room hotel with a restaurant and bar alongside ground floor retail units.

Planning permission for the scheme was granted last month and work is due to start in January at the site new with completion of the hotel scheduled for November 2010.

McLaren chairman Kevin Taylor said: "We are partnering with Pendleridge to develop the site which will represent our first scheme with Travelodge and we look forward to it being the start of a longterm relationship.

"The hotel market has withstood the recession better than most and this job fits perfectly with our long-term strategy of expanding into growing sectors."
